There are several interstates that serve Chicago, with the I-55 continuing south-west to Pontiac, Springfield and beyond, while the I-90 goes both north-west and south-east. The quickest way is usually along the I-55 interstate, a 17km drive. Rent a car here and you can be in downtown within 20 minutes. Lying just south-west of Chicago’s centre, Midway Airport is perfectly situated.
